I'm sure this is the second time that I have featured Merle Kilgore but the fact is that this track is a brilliant 'Trucker' song and I demand that I post it. I don't know if it's on any of those 'Truckin' CD best of's' but I know it from the 1963 compilation LP on Starday Records 'Diesel Smoke, Dangerous Curves and other Truck Driver Favorites'. It also appears on Merle's Starday album ' There's Gold In Them Thar Hills'. Starday Records issued hundreds of great C&W albums in the 1960's, go find 'em.
