Don't Call Me Snearly

This 1955 7" was issued on the Sun Records subsidiary label Flip Records (no.502). It was credited to Bill Taylor & Smokey Jo and added underneath a further credit to Clyde Leoppard's Snearly Ranch Boys. The band that recorded it were Smokey Joe Baugh (vcl/piano) alongside Bill Taylor (vcl); Buddy Holobaugh (gtr) ;Stan Kesler (steel gtr) ; Clyde Leoppard (drums). Smokey Joe is better known for his next record the wonderfully named track, 'Signifying Monkey'.
