The Rays were a Brooklyn based band who hit the big time in 1957 with their hit single 'Silhouettes' on Cameo Records. I have always preferred this track which I came across when I bought the LP 'Jukebox At Eric's - Vol 1 Rock 'N' Roll' (Eric's 008) which I have since regrettably sold a year or so ago on Ebay. Look out for it as it is a fine compilation of obscure hits. You can find more of The Rays on the XYZ CD ' Silhouettes + 26 More Doo Wop Rare Cuts' (see cover's below).
