The Four Wheels - Cold 45

Let's go back to the Mid West of America in the early 1960's where every budding musician either wanted to be in the Beatles or perhaps in the Beach Boys. Well somewhere in Indiana the Four Wheels almost definitely wanted to be one of Brian Wilson's gang. They released about two singles on the Soma Records label and this track was the B side to 'Central High Playmate'. Soma Records were owned by one Amos Heilicher (hence Soma !). The Four Wheels can now be found on 'The Big Hits Of Mid-America - The Soma Records Story 1963-1967' CD on Plum Records 14132.

I've always understood SOMA to be an acronym for the Sound of Mid-America . . . ?
