Take A Little Time To Do Right

Born in Alabama, Charlie Elzer (1927) & Lonnie Ira Loudermilk (1924) later became famous stars in country music as The Louvin Brothers. They split their duo act to both go solo in 1963 but tragically Ira like so many other musicians in that era was killed in a car crash on 20th June 1965. Ironically that same year Charlie had his second top ten hit record when this Capitol Records (no 6117) release reached no. 7 in the charts .
You can find this track on the Collectors Choice 2004 CD 'Greatest Hits Of Charlie Louvin' (see below).

Charlie Louvin - See The Big Man Cry

The other day I walked out on the street I happened to see
A pretty young woman a little bitty boy and he looked back at me
See the big man cry mama that's what I heard him say
See the big man cry mama he looks like his heart will break
