Buddy recorded over 80 songs for Decca between the late 1930's and the early 1940's but is relatively unknown in the Hillbilly/Country domain . He later became a police officer working on the force in Shreveport, Louisiana. This song was orginally written by Jimmie Davis who recorded a vocal version accompanied by Oscar 'Buddy' Woods this can be found on the VA compilation album 'Texas Slide Guitars' on Document records.
